CEO leadership counts. Today, I attended an impressive ribbon cutting ceremony at Millipore, a $2B mfg of life science products. Today's event celebrated the 2nd largest solar installation in MA. MA Governor Deval Patrick and other notable local leaders spoke. Congrats to the team at Millipore.
Leadership counts. The event was a nice capstone for the leadership of Millipore CEO, Martin Madaus. Madaus is personally committed to sustainability and has provided the political and financial support to the sustainability team at Millipore, transforming Millipore in a few short years to the forefront of sustainability innovation in New England. Madaus' leadership and his support of the many internal teams have energized the entire organization. Importantly his leadership continues to enhance Millipore's image with top customers, socially responsible investment funds, employees, recruits, and other stakeholders.
He provides a model for other CEOs to emulate.
